Hello, I am a Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 user. I am considering to buy the Samsung Gear S now or wait for the iWatch. Two major features that I need are: a) Be able to receive and make phone call via the watch. b) Notify me whenever incoming message or phone call arrive. Better if it can also show. I went to the Apple.ca website (Apple site for Canada) and launched a chat with a specialist there asking them specifically if I purchased an Ultra 2 in Canada, would it work with my cell carriers in the US when I come back Stateside. The specialist clearly said the cell functions won't work because cell is country specific.
Just a heads up for anyone thinking about trading in their watch. Best Buy is offering 0 for my Midnight Series 9 GPS 45mm to trade in for a Series 10. Apple is only offering 0. Thanks for pointing this out. The trade-in is a little hard to figure out though. Some of the S9 trade-ins say 0, and others are 0.
Here's my experience. On the Health app, in the Steps tab, you can set the device priority to determine which device's steps get counted in the total. For me, the AW is the top priority and the iPhone is the second priority. So when I have both my AW and the iPhone, the steps recorded by the AW is what is counted.
