For me Y EDP is a great 'playful' casual blue scent. It doesn't take itself too seriously like BDC or Sauvage. It's a high quality scent and nothing really compares to it in my opinion besides the whole blue genre. Inspired by the iconic Yves Saint Laurent "white T-shirt and black jacket" look, the Y signature bottle is now refillable. The blue glass features a striking silver Y that slashes through the square-shouldered bottle—an ultra-desirable piece for the self-made man.
Introduced in the top notes by elemi – a resin with pine, lemon and incense facets --, the mysterious, mineral accents of olibanum add their dark signature to y eau de parfum. Underscored by the deep bass thrum of smoky vetiver, a sensuous woody ambery base amps up the scent’s powerful radiance.
