The dial is bigger and allows the cyclops to breath more. Also think trends continue for men 39/40 and up. Fluted with jubilee for me - really pops and is the classic look. The blue datejust dial is one of the best dials I have ever seen and owned. Mint green, it looks so much better in person than it does in any picture.
